Running multiple Vapps (Virtual Appliances) on your machines has a huge advantage over 1 application per server. You not only enjoy the benefits of virtualization but you get software that is Ready-to-Run and generate results. Even when your company is not virtualized our appliances will still be benificial.
Intuitive
Running a Vapp is as easy as it can be. Our own appliances have a pre-installed control panel (VACP). There is no need for you to master the underlying operating system. The vital settings for getting it working in your network are managed through a browser. That is all there is to it. Third party appliances might not be fit with a control panel, but still you will not have the challenge of installation and probably only will have to adjust the network settings.
Added value
Once you took the hurdle of software selection you either need to install it or get it installed by a third party. These specialists command a high fee and there is still room for error. That will not happen with our Vapps ! They are pre-installed and come off the shelf exactly the same way each time.
Choice
In the end it all comes down to the value of an application itself. Does it address your organisation needs. Applianceforge allows you to test drive professional appliances for a third of the price (or less) of a consultant. The test drive will offer a better understanding if the software meets your needs. You might stay with one of the appliances or you might buy some other. In any cases you will be able to make a better decision based on your own experience.
Maintenance
If you choose one of the Applianceforge Vapps the control panel lets you update the operating system and the connection between operating system and application automatically. So all updates and security patches come for free!. No need to hire any specialist to do that for you. We take on the responsibility for that. We commit ourselves to have high end solutions with easy access.
Portable
Changing hardware, means re-installation. It is time consuming and risky. There is hardly any downtime with our Vapps. It is a copy and paste procedure and really on the next server the configuration is identical and Ready-to-Run again.
