I understand the benefits but I feel unsecure to start. ?
We understand. The best way is to experiment, a picture is worth a thousand words but an experience is worth more then a thousand pictures. Read our documentation pages and just install the virtualization software on a computer. Download one of the Vapps of your liking and play around. Keep in the back of your mind that now this machine is capable of running multiple Vapps at the same time. Once your eyes are opened you probably don't want to go back
I still have lots of good software can I convert this ?
Yes you can, soon we will be publishing tools and tutorials about this. If you for instance use vmware as virtualization platform they have a tool called vmware converter which is able to convert a complete physical windows machine in to a virtual machine.
Can I muliply each Vapp as much as I like ?
If you buy a Vapp here you (or your customer) may run it and to keep 1-3 copies for backup or disaster recovery purposes. If you want to run more appliances of the same sort you will need to buy them.
What is the initial password of the appliance?
The initial username of the appliances is "administrator" and password is "applianceforge". To become root user on the shell, enter the command "su root" and enter the password "applianceforge"
