The Applianceforge Virtual Appliance Control Panel
Our VACP (Virtual Appliance Controlpanel) gives you full control over the appliance whithout the need to be a computer literate. Have a look through the screenshots and their explenation.
The first time you started the machine you configured the settings of the appliance and now it is Ready-to-Run.To keep control over your appliance simply type :8080 after the ipnumber or hostname of the appliance in your browser. This control panel listens to the same username and password you entered during the setup. If you did not alter these you can use the default:
username : administrator
password : applianceforge
Through this control panel you are able to change the settings of your appliance with any browser. By default you have access to the installed database. You can set the root password in the control panel. The acces is not yet integrated in VACP. Simply type after the ip number or hostname of the appliance /phpadmin. This will give you access to all databases used by the appliance.
